Officinale Tours / NaTours

Officinale Tours is a performance group consisting of Andreas Haglund, Ágnes Grélinger, Lucie Piot and Lara Vejrup Ostan. Four choreographers based in Copenhagen who share a passion for performing art that works through Nature towards sustainable futures. Officinale Tours is also the name of the site-specific performance project that guides citizens through the botanical world of their neighbourhoods. It is a performative sightseeing tour that presents specific plant-species through dance and different modes of language-based knowledge sharing, creating an experience that lies between education and performance art. It works to produce cerebral and sensous encounters with plants that create more engaged relationships with the individuals of Nature. We work site-specifically and perform for local citizens to provide a fresh look on the flora of their everyday environments. Our previous work-showings have proven, through audience feedback, that our tour creates more curious, respectful and dedicated relationships between spectators and the world of Nature.

The performative material has also served as base for several teaching and sharing situations.

April 2021: Two week Artistic Development residency curated by HAUT at Kulturhuset i indre by. Residency supported by Bikuben.
September 2020: Performance in collaboration with Brønshøj Vandtårn, funded by sommer puljen for nyetablerede kunstnere, Slots -og Kulturstyrelsen.
June 2020: Two week residency and performance at Tårnby Park Studio, funded through DDSKS.
